Thank God for the sense to remember these '3' steps.
S.T.R. (As in STROKE) Read and Learn! Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the overall lack of awareness spells disaster. A stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctor's say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking the suspected victim three simple questions.
S - Ask the individual to SMILE.
T - Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)
(I.e. it is sunny out today)
R - Ask the possible victim to RAISE BOTH ARMS.
Additionally, ask the person to stick out their tongue! If it's crooked, leaning off to one side, that's a sign of a stroke! If the victim has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call for medical help immediately.
If everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people, you can bet that at least one life will be saved.
IN GOD WE TRUST, AND OH GOD! PLEASE BLESS MANKIND!!!
